This past weekend I had the privilege of documenting the Roland family as they had the chance to come together after six years of separation doing ministry work all over the world! What a joy it was to celebrate the love in this family and to see cousins meet each-other for the first time! Mr. and Mrs. Roland, you have a beautiful family. Praise God for your three strong daughters who have chosen to love the Lord and serve Him in all aspects of their lives and in their own families. Thank you for your example to them as you choose to fear Him and to proclaim His name to the ends of the earth. May you continue to pass on the Lord's love and inheritance of peace to your children and your children's children. Blessings on you and your beautiful family as you continue to work for the Lord in this new season!

I cannot believe that it was almost exactly four years ago that I was having a blast shooting Stephanie and Chris' wedding. Not only was this wedding one of my favorites to shoot with a bbq by the river, a small gathering of family and friends, fun surprises and lots of dancing, but Chris and Stephanie's families were so genuine, warm and welcoming people that they left such a beautiful and lasting impression on me (Stephanie's mother is the only mother-of-the-bride to actually get behind the camera and take a picture of me!). Still adorably in-love, Chris and Stephanie have managed to stay youthful not only through much expected laughter, but also through the expansion of their beautiful family. What a joy it was to be able to meet little Amelia and spend time with you all last month at the beautiful Fermilab campus. From visiting daddy's work at the fire-station, to exploring the absolutely beautiful nature trail, as it turned out to be a gorgeous day after the morning's rain. Stephanie and Chris, thank you so much for allowing me to journey with you and your family in its different seasons of life, as I have been truly blessed to see the deep love, life and laughter among you all and your extended families. Happy anniversary and many more to come!

Last weekend I had the opportunity to get to know the Tsan Family and their adorable baby girl Evelyn! Evelyn will celebrate her first birthday in a matter of weeks, so it was only fitting to document her in this adorable and unique stage of her life; full of exploration, learning to walk and teething. Jeff and Susan wanted to celebrate this by taking pictures in the park where they pushed her in her stroller. Without skipping a beat, Evelyn directed us to her favorite landmarks and places to crawl. It is so clear that this little girl is very smart, deeply loved by both her parents and that she will grow up smothered in kisses and bedtime stories. Happy Birthday Evy, God bless your home and parents in these formative years.
